Its clashtime! Soundclash = Musical competition where crew members from opposing reggae sound systems pit their skills and dubplates against each other. This event is a MUST GO for all dancehall and reggae heads in scandinavia(easy by car, bus or flight). Copenhagen's reggaescene has grown enormously the latest years, 28th of july Youngblood sound has set up a clash called Christiania Cup Clash with three different scandinavia-based soundsystems that will fight for the 2012 award at Den Grå Hal in freetown Christiania.
Competing sounds are:
Million Vibes Sound (Sweden)
Jah Ark Manifest Sound (Norway)
Ganjaforce Sound (Switzerland/Denmark)
+ Pharfar (Rubadub crew / Foodpalace) will come play an exclusive dubplate set of oldschool RubaDub Sound dubs from the last ten years and will also back two of Denmark's hottest reggae artists right now; Wafande and Little Kaka for each their live shows as a warmup for the musical wartime night.
This is how it will go down:
15 min start round - After each round there well be a voting by hands and the sound that get the most hands gets 1 point after each round
2x10 min round - Same voting principal + an extra voting round - Sound with least votes is out of the clash.
Dub Fi Dub rounds - Each of the two remaining sounds spins their wickedest dubplates (one at a time) - Sound with most votes and best dubs will win.
