Since our first post about the two cousins Sanjin & Youthman in 2010, I've been excitingly keeping an eye on these Bosnian/swedish fellas. Their first official single Running This Town (2011) made "Balkan Dancehall" a new word on people's tongues and now they're out with the Sanjin & Youthman - Balkan Dancehall EP.
They have managed to combine the language and the culture of their Bosnian background with patois lyrics and jamaican rhythm styles, which is not far away from the pattern of the bosnian rhythms either.
