Peps Persson (born December 20, 1946) is a Swedish blues and reggae musician from Skåne in Sweden. Throughout his career he has mostly made music in Swedish and is well known for his Scanian(Skåne) dialect, but he has also made music in English.
He started his musical career early and up to 1975 he was mostly inspired by Blues and reworked many famous blues tunes into swedish, by such artists as Muddy Waters and Elmore James.
After 1975, his career turned away from the blues and focused mostly on reggae. Some of his songs, like "Falsk matematik" and "Hög standard", made a political statement, and was considered part of the progg movement.
